Zambia has many rivers and plains though it does have some hills and small mountains. The cities are along the borders and without the country so they have easy access to the border countries. There is a total lack of water treatment which increases the number of diseases toward the people and contaminates food. Air pollution and chemical runoff are also very big issues here. The land is 6.99% arable and
they use this to grow corn, sorghum, rice, groundnuts, sunflower seeds, vegetables, fruits, flowers, tobacco, cotton, sugarcane, livestock, coffee, and soybeans. They also
extract Copper, cobalt, zinc, lead, coal, emeralds, gold, silver, and uranium. They are still very poor due to their lack of health care access and the many diseases.
