Iceland
Most of Iceland’s interior geography is glaciers, high plateaus, and mountains. Due to the interior geography being as packed as it is, the inhabitants tend to live and stay along the coast of Iceland where most of its cities are. Also along the coast is their areas of trade and business in which they live on. Iceland faces threats of volcanoes and occasionally a normally small earthquake. Iceland is an island surrounded by water and on land 11.1% is covered in glaciers. The only issue they have
had in the past, in regards to water, is treatment of their drinking water. Their land however is only 0.07% arable. To make up for this they import much of their foodstuff and are avid fishermen. To earn money
Iceland exports fish and fish products (which makes up 40%), aluminum, animal products, ferrosilicon, and diatomite. Their natural resources are fish, hydropower, geothermal power, diatomite which provide income and energy.
